Hi. My name is Biz, and I create magic tricks. I also produce and publish card games and playing cards under Biz and Friends.

My ideas have been published by magic companies such as Bigblindmedia, VanishingInc, Fontaine Cards and Penguin Magic. I’ve also successfully published two decks on Kickstarter: the Cardistry Card Game and The Magicians Playing Cards.

And beyond that, I’ve published a cardistry manifesto for beginners, gathered 82 cardists and wrote a self-help book, published an illustrated history of playing cards, created magic for 24 hours with no sleep, gathered over 50 magicians for a Christmas magic book and released my debut magic book “Explorations” (which allowed me to buy a van and tour Europe lecturing).

I’ve got endless ideas for magic tricks and projects – and I want you to help me make them!

What is Patreon?
Patreon is a service where you can pledge to send a regular payment to creators, so they can support themselves and keep making new stuff.

Patreon is better for creators than advertising or sponsorship. The content is 100% uncompromised, payment is more predictable, and creators don’t need to stoop to clickbait content or other shady practices.

Patreon means that creators serve their viewers, not advertisers or corporate sponsors. And where the viewers choose what deserves to be made and who deserves a voice.

Why do you need the money?
Since 2020, I’ve made creating magic my full time job. This meant that I didn’t want to work in any industry outside of magic. Since there are no magic jobs where I live that can sustain a decent living, I currently am making ends meet by working for Bigblindmedia, doing Skillshare courses, creating videos for Expert Magic, publishing on Patreon, creating magic for Somnium Cards and selling my projects on my website. This allows me to pay my rent, eat and invest a bit in better gear / software.

It’s a lot and they all steal around 10-12 hours a day. Making enough out of Patreon means I can cut down on some projects and focus more on creating magic, games and cardistry (projects).
